Overview

I have some friend who shuffle and it's always something I'd like to be good at. I've never actually put any time into learning how.

There is a trip planned for March, this gives me a motive to work towards. Some videos have been sent through and I've found some tutorials on YouTube so I'll be putting some time into the learning and then will post my progress here.

Running man progress after 1 hour

Feedback from Dat:

  • Try to be more bouncy to avoid the foot scrapes
  • He also gave Dan feedback to put pressure through the middle and back part of the running man, not the front step

SESSION 2

02/02/24

Goal:
I was aiming to progress the feet cross however I eneded up progressing my running man based on Dat's feedback from the first session

Video of running man after 45 minutes

put 25 minutes into the feet cross

Idea:
Create a dropdown where I could select the session number, this would then show certain detail. For example you select 2 then it will show the notes / teaching points / goals etc. Might be an idea to neaten things up into a format too.

SESSION 6

12/02/24

Focus: Learn the T-step

Initial video used: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=bniL9e3aIdE

I initially watched this video and learned to transition from one foot to the other foot. I found that it's better to learn the move then be more creative with the movement.

Video used: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=EdN8S2phxbs

This video was more helpful as he says about weighting on your feet when moving and when turning. It also says about how you should position your feet to form the T-shape.

Showing about 1 hour of T-step progress
